Composed in January of 2014, Crashin’ the Party is dedicated to my son, Dr. Adam Booker, assistant professor of double bass and jazz studies at the University of Minnesota Duluth. Adam was featured on the world premiere of this piece on my Farewell Recital March 10, 2014.
