This composition was written for Matthew Murchison for his clinic and performance with the University of Arkansas Fort Smith Band on their spring concert in 2003. With his permission the cadenza was taken and notated by the composer from his actual performance during the concert. Although the piece is written using asymmetrical, it should be performed in a "relaxed" and even manner.
